Can I assign a baseline to multiple projects in XER Toolkit?

Currently, you cannot assign a single baseline to multiple projects, and while this might seem like an issue, it’s actually how the toolkit was designed to work!

Here’s how it functions:

  • When you assign a baseline to a project, it will disappear from the baseline list. This is intentional, not a bug! :white_check_mark:
  • The idea is to maintain a single live project with an assigned baseline.

:bulb: How to Manage Your Baselines:

At the end of each period, instead of keeping old live projects with attached baselines:

  1. Revise the old live project rather than creating a new project.
  2. This approach will retain all share groups, progress updates, and settings, keeping everything consistent and tidy.
  3. If you want to have baselines attached to multiple projects, you can upload the same baseline multiple times and assign it individually to each program as needed.

We know many of you would prefer the ability to assign a single baseline to multiple projects, and we’re actively exploring this feature. While it’s not available right now, it’s definitely on our radar!
